Intraosseous acupuncture needle

The SAM IO system is a manually operated intraosseous access system. Catheter positioning is achieved by continuously operating (repeatedly pressing) the trigger assembly of the actuator while gently guiding the needle assembly into position. Repeated and complete actuation of the actuator causes the needle assembly to rotate repeatedly which, when combined with gentle downward pressure, controls the position of the catheter within the bone.
